Binod Bihari Mahato Memorial Teachers’ Training College

a co-educational B.ED College under the aegis of RISHIKESH MAHATO MEMORIAL PUBLIC EDUCATIONAL TRUST, is the first venture of this reputed TRUST after the successful running of a no. of Schools and Colleges in and around Dhanbad, Giridih and Bokaro.

The Trust was established by its Founder Chairman Sri Mathura Prasad Mahato, a visionary and philanthropist who dreamt of bringing the trodden down to the mainstream of the nation.

In continuation to the obsession of providing world class education, the need to produce trained human resource was felt and it became the first venture of the Trust. Thus BBM Memorial Teachers’ Training College, providing B.ED course, has taken shape. The immediate and long term objective of this college is to train student teachers of today into well equipped quality teachers of tomorrow and be a perennial source of producing and providing skilled human resources to Dhanbad in particular and the people and society in general.
